Komproment develops roof and facade systems that are easily separable and can be reused or recycled.
The Danish construction company, Komproment, uses circular principles in their design of roof and facade systems. Their systems are designed for separation at the end-use, which makes it possible to separate the system into specific materials fractions for a better sorting. This makes it easier to reuse or recycle components or materials after the end of use. Many of their systems are certified with a Cradle-to-Cradle silver level, which means that high requirements are met in regards to, for example, material reutilisation, minimisation of harmful substances and use of renewable energy. The roof and facade systems can, additionally, incorporate solar panels, which can help to create more energy efficient housing.
